JEAN HOGG

I am an artist-filmmaker working primarily in documentary, alongside drama and multidisciplinary art.

Identical—A Twin Story is a feature documentary nine years in the making, currently in post-production, reflecting my commitment to long-form, character-led storytelling.

​

I trained as an assistant director in television and short films before completing an MA in Film and moving into directing. I have made award-winning shorts and co-directed two British feature films.

​

Alongside filmmaking, I bring over a decade of experience in community arts, social enterprise, and social care, which informs my collaborative, socially engaged documentary practice.

I will be attending Sheffield DocFest 10 - 14th of June 26 and am keen to connect with producers, sales agents, distributors, and editors.
